We don't know if there's anything you could do to have improved the outcome from our sale. Shawn was personable and engaging at the front end of the process; by the end, not so much. In reality, the process wore all of us down. Shawn struggled to negotiate between our insistence that the buyer be held accountable and Washington's real estate contract language being misleading and meaningless. The buyer was a total flake. He appeared good on paper - working at Washington State University as a professor, owning a high end Portland condo, offering above the asking price with an escalator clause within the first few days of the listing. After accepting his offer, he reneged not once but twice on the purchase. The reasons he proffered were bogus. At the end of the process, his funding didn't come through timely and we needed an extension to consummate the deal. We are glad to have moved from Clark County and doubt that we will ever again need the services of your agency.
